Febbraio

Cover: Gange and Mullins. Mickey Allen won the CIK Asian Champs in Hong Kong on a Deavinson Sirio. 10 years of effort and Three Sisters at Wigan opened on the site of disused coal mines. The Breezehill kart + 50cc Yamaha were examined. Dormer won the Endurance Challenge.

Marzo

Cover: Peter Elliot at Rowrah. Alistair Mathie gave basic preparation hints for 210 National and Doug Staplehurst provided much insider information for anyone interested in Endurance racing. Rhodesia, as it was then known, had an 8 round Championship.

Aprile

Cover: Steve Styrin won in the snow at Cadwell. IAME introduced a new make of 100cc motor, the reed valve Atlas. A photo feature went into USA kart road racing trends. There were hints for 210 Nat. drivers and Johnny Herbert came 2nd in Junior Nat. at Tilbury.

Maggio

Cover photos: The BIA Junior Cup at Morecambe. Articles included one on how to look after a 100cc motor, the Sirio ST51 engine, an interview with kart and car racer Dave Leslie, and Continental's new tyre which weighed only 57% of the previous version.

Giugno

John Fitzpatrick wrote about preparing for Endurance races. There were photos of hot 125s and the Danish Mk 5 Petersen 250cc kart.

With three foreign teams in the first four places, Dormer and Ranchin won the 6 Hours at Rye House for France. Cathy Muller won the Euro Individual Champs.

Ottobre

Novembre

Cover photo: Andersson, Homewood and Spencer at the World Champs at Estoril in Portugal. The winner was Peter Koene with Ayrton Senna a very close 2nd. Paul Elmore won the 250 Int. Commonwealth Cup at Oulton Park. We reported on the latest slide carbs.

Dicembre

Cover photo: Derek Rodgers at Cadwell. There were ninety 250cc entries at Jyllands in Denmark, the winner being Lennart Bohlin on a Star Yamaha. Lars Forsman won the first Japanese Kart GP at Sugo in torrential rain. The Green Man Champs was dominated by Mickey Allen.
