Circuito di Pomposa: Pista Romea

Il Circuito di Pomposa nasce con il nome di Pista Romea nel 1959 con un tracciato di 560 metri con caratteristiche molto veloci l’inaugurazione del tracciano viene fatta ufficialmente il 19/03/1960 con l’organizzazione della prima gara di kart.

Nel corso degli anni il circuito ha subito continui aggiornamenti per renderlo sempre adeguato alle esigenze richieste dalle Federazioni Nazionali ed internazionali e alle prestazioni, sempre crescenti, dei kart

 

Nel 1969 la pista viene allungata a 1000 metri e completamente modificata nel suo sviluppo che risulta particolarmente gradita ai numerosi piloti che partecipano alle gare nazionali ed ai campionati italiani.

Nel 1976 L’impianto viene gestito dalla Famiglia Bondi e da quella data e stato avviato un rinnovamento sia di strutture che di organizzazione che ha portato l’impianto ad ospitare gare di alta levatura tecnica

Nel 1985 vengono eseguiti grandi lavori di aggiornamento con la costruzione di tribune per ospitare gli spettatori, nuovi box per i piloti, ampliamento parcheggio, ampliamento degli spazio di fuga per garantire una maggiore sicurezza. 

 

Nel 1995 con il rinnovamento del tracciato portano la pista a 1200 metri, rinnovamenti che consento il cambiamento da Kartdromo a mini autodromo, con la possibilità di poter effettuare tutti i vari tipi di manifestazioni nazionali ed internazionali. 

 

Gli ultimi aggiornamenti sono nel 2007 con la completa riasfaltatura del tracciato.

 

 Pomposa Track: "Romea Circuit"

 

 Pomposa circuit is born with the name of Romea Track in 1959 with a tracing of 560 meters and this is the reason why  it's considered one of the most fast track in the world. The inauguration had been made on the 19 March 1960 thanks to the organization of the first race.

 During the years the circuit has had lot of changes so that it could be always adequated to the requirements wanted by the National and international  kart Federation.

In 1969 the track has been lengthened until 1000 meters and completely modified.Its developments made everyone really excited and fascinated and especially our italian drivers who could tested this fantastic and funny track everytime. 

 Since 1976 Pomposa track has been managed from Bondi Family and for years the circuit has been using to organize the most famous national and international races.

In the 1985 have been made great modernization jobs with the construction of tribunes for the spectators, new box for the drivers, wide car-parks, and lot of escape areas along all the track to guarantee the security .

In 1995 the owners decided to make more and more changes and the circuit become 1200 metres long and thanks to this it has been transformed in a car and kart circuit too with the possibility of being able to carry out  several types of national and international manifestations.

The last changes have been done in 2007 with the drafting of a new asphalt along all the tracing.
